ok, my philosophy on fighting. here goes.
I got in "trouble with the brown belt for bashing my wrist against hers in judo.  she told me not to strike and that If I did the judges would disqualify me.  it's judo, the "gentle way."  your not supposed to do that.
what I'm thinking is that yeah, I'm here to learn to fight in a certain style but if I got in a fight with some one for real would I really be expected to use only one style? or would I do everything in my power to defeat my opponent or get away. such as flipping, tripping, kicking punching, smashing bashing baring choking and all that stuff.  any way I say I should take ti kwon do or something that incorporates all those move that are not in judo but I can use against my brothers.
I did learn a throw in judo that is "ridiculously effective."  you grap the lapel of you uki's gi and the sleeve on the other side (fake and entrance to make room) and drop down onto your back after doing a very strange pivote thing. stick your foot at the hip and roll back. that tosses them or you get tossed funny.  when you get it done on you it's wierd becuase once the persone throw ing ou is one his back with his foot on you belt there's not much I could do. :(
I don't like it much when that happens. ugg.

I went trail riding today. and got hit with a checkbook when I told my boss that she was out of vitemin e for her horses. and again when ai said we were low on msm.
Tyler took over and just slapped me acouple of times when I tolde her we were also almost out of malinium gold suplaments.  I was expecting it so I wasn't surprised. hhehehe.

on death and immortality.

If you remotely know me or can just guess from my blog you know I love lord of the rings.
every time I watch the two towers I watch Haldir get killed. it always sparks thought in me. I mean here is this elf and he is dieing in Aragorn's arms. It's just so sad. I mean I look at him and think, I wonder what is he feeling? I mean elves are not supposed to die and here is this elf, dieing. I wonder what he thought. what were his thoughts upon tasting the bitterness of the gift of the one to men? death was so foreign to the elves. they were never meant to die.
but then again...
neither were we.
when adam was placed in the garden he was not going to die; he was, in the sense of the word, "immortal."
But he had to eat the fruit and sin entered and men died. We bacame "mortal."  We were, as humans, never meant to die.
I suppose that is why throughout history discoverers have tried to find the "fountan of youth"
It has always been a desire of man to return to that state in which adam was first formed in the garden of eden and why so many peaple are afraid of death. It is not what was meant to be.
we were never meant to die.
On the other hand our souls do not die with our bodies. they go to heaven or hell.

yay, I'm going to the barn later. but first I'm going to do math. and then maybe some sewing.


I should go out side but I'll be doing that later.

yesterday I went to judo.

I got in a nugy fight with the brown belt and the blue belt decked me in a fight.

Katy has short really short hair kinda like Peter's. so it's really funny to tackle her and give her a nugy.

Miranda is oober quick. I"m good at staying on my feet when they're trying to throw me but that also means that your sorta stiff and it's harder to throw the other person. the guys told me to loosen up and the next thing I saw was the ceiling from the point of view of the floor.

Unfortunately, I'm not good at loosening up because I don't feel tens unless i"m actually purposefully tensing up to hold something. so I'm never really relaxed or completely tense which is really frustrating. I know some people who are always tense completely tense though so I guess I"m not bad off.

I find one of the girls there funny. when we're practicing the throws she'll throw me (and watch me fall) and correct me. you need to slap the mat or you need to kei. (I absolutely detestkeiing.(I like silence))

when I flip her some times she'll fall funny and be oww my knee just went out or ow my back just gave out. Then shell do the same thing to me and she'll watch my knee turn at odd angles and will be "how do you do that you just take it and jump back up?"

in replie to a commeent. in judo the master is the "sensie" or however you spell it. the one I was talking about is onlly 18.

I finished it!! I'll try and gett pics up soon but I'm still not sure what to call it.

it's almost like a cross between a shirt, vest, tunick or jerkin. wierd. it zipps closed from the top to half way down the back. The zipper is conveniantly hidden by my hair. It's brown on the outside and lined with green on the inside. neat. It's low in the neck so of course I have to wear something under it but that's what it was made for. I made it to go with the green shirt that I'm wearing now but I wonder what it would look like with the big white shirt that I have. now I just need to make the skirt to go with it.

the skirt will be sorta like arya's if you hae ever seen Eragon. but in a dark red suade.
