thanksgiving.

 Psalm 100:4-5
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
         And into His courts with praise.
         Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
 5 For the LORD is good;
         His mercy is everlasting,
         And His truth endures to all generations.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Today we get to remember how much we are blessed. It's something we should be doing all year, but, I regret to say, I don't. that is one regret of mine but oh well.

Possibly the best quote ever....

one of the questions I have been asked is, "who hears you when you cry, when your soul cries?"
I think Grima wormtongue  says it better.

"Oh, but you are alone. Who knows what you have spoken to the darkness, alone, in the bitter watches of the night, when all your life seems to shrink, the walls of your bower closing in about you, a hutch to trammel some wild thing in? So fair, yet so cold like a morning of pale Spring still clinging to Winter's chill."

You my lovely daughter are fair but you are not cold like the morning of pale spring still clinging to Winter's chill. But instead within you burn the embers of love, for God and those who are hurting, that God is faithfully fanning into a blazing fire for Him and His glory. For our God is a consuming fire and He is working in you to show Himself strong for only when we are weak is He truly strong in us.

Seek God with all your heart and he will transform you into the a warrior for the weak and hurting and not for useless things. I love you sweet girl. love ya, mom:)

Your mother gives such encouraging words. Not just to you but to all us who read. Would you thank her for me?
